Itinerary Overview
Kathmandu to Honey Hunting Village
Early morning departure from Kathmandu via a scenic jeep drive through hills, rivers, and rural landscapes. Upon reaching, a warm welcome as per local rituals, cultural immersion, traditional dance, and an overnight stay.
The Great Harvest – Mad Honey Hunting Experience
The main event of the journey. Witness the legendary Himalayan cliff honey hunting ritual. Observe spiritual ceremonies, smoke rituals, and the dramatic descent of skilled honey hunters down steep cliffs using traditional rope and ladders.
Return to Kathmandu
After breakfast, trek back to the trailhead and continue the return journey by jeep to Kathmandu. The day concludes with reflections on the rare cultural and natural experience of Himalayan mad honey hunting. Arrival in Kathmandu by evening.
